Welcome to Jax Offshore Charters, the premier fishing adventure on the waters of Jacksonville, Florida.
I am Rudolph H. Stankowitz, owner of Jax Offshore Charters, a sanctuary where the art of fishing transcends mere sport. Raised among the currents and tides of Jacksonville, I have come to know these waters as one knows the pulse of their own veins. It is a deep-seated passion, a calling, to guide fellow anglers in their quest for the extraordinary — to venture beyond the horizon and experience the vastness of what lies beneath.
Since the year 2016, Jax Offshore Charters has opened the door to unforgettable journeys, custom-tailored to those of all skill levels. Whether you are a seasoned fisherman, seeking to conquer the elusive giants of the deep, or a novice eager to discover the secrets of the sea, we stand ready to guide you. The waters of Jacksonville teem with a rich array of species, from the relentless strength of Grouper and Snapper to the exhilarating chase of King Mackerel and Cobia. Whatever your quarry, our mission is singular: to offer you the best opportunity to seize that trophy fish — and to make your adventure as legendary as the waters themselves.
king mackerel
These creatures of the deep, lurking in waters 40 to 150 feet below the surface, often seek refuge near reefs and wrecks, where their presence can be felt but not always seen. To tempt them, one must wield live bait — menhaden or ribbonfish, perhaps — carefully rigged with wire leaders and treble hooks, ensuring that the lure is as cunning as the fish itself.
Update from Grandpa
Hey everyone, it’s me. Just wanted to let you know that Grandpa’s been feeling a bit under the weather lately, and because of that, he’s not able to make his usual trips out to sea. He’s retired now, Even though he’s not able to head out for now, we’ll keep you updated on how he’s doing. Thanks for all the support, and we hope to be back out there soon!
